On Tuesday night, June 9th, at 7 pm at the Capri Theatre, we’ll host a special impact screening of the new documentary, Beyond, which chronicles participants in the Beyond the Block program at Sing Sing. This screening is in partnership with the Mississippi Humanities Council and is made possible, in part, by a grant from the Mississippi Arts Commission. On Thursday night, June 18th, at 7 pm at the Legacy Theatres Parkway, we’ll kick off a new screening series partnership with Aaron Bond Counseling. Reel Talk is a celebration of and conversation about films that make us laugh, cry, think, and view the world differently. Each screening will be followed by a time of intentional conversation about the themes of the film. We’ll start with The Shawshank Redemption and you can register for your free tickets here.
